YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE FROM ChinaVtour.com CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE. Please read this carefully before using our service and make sure of you understand and accept all the Terms and conditions.

Reservation

1) After received your booking request, one of ChinaVtour experienced travel consultants will service for you to make a pleasant travel plan according to your requirements and conditions within 24 hours.
2) If your itinerary include hotel or flights you usually need pay us  20% of full amount of your tour fee as a deposit. This deposit is partly refundable,please check the detail in the Cancellation term.
After we received the deposit we'll secure your reservation and process your final booking immediately.(Our average deposit amount is 20%, but this amount is not limited. We have the right to adjust the deposit rate by group size and itinerary.)
3) A full payment required 30 days before your actual arrival date if your itinerary include hotel or flights.
4) When your booking is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation letter informing you with the proposed flights, hotels, and tours in details. If any conditions should change after the confirmation, ChinaVTour reserves the right to make changes and provide you with the similar alternative options.

Payment

We accept three ways of payment:
1) credit card;
2) wire transfer (bank transfer);
Detailed payment guide will be sent to you via email by your travel consultant.
*Important note about the exchange rate:
1. Reference exchange rate: please refer to BOC EXCHANGE RATE.
2. The quote we provide is in Chinese currency-RMB, the equivalent quote in USD is based on current exchange rate between the RMB and the USD.  The quote we provide in USD is subject to slight change due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, though our quote in RMB will remain the same.

Cancellation Refunds

We would feel sorry if you decided to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that the majority do so out of necessity.
If you must cancel your trip, please submit your cancellation in written form. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.
All payments for travel services not provided to the passenger shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with ChinaVtour’s cancellation policy. In this event, we will refund any payment made to Chinavtour less any cancellation fee that is applicable within 14days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
No less than 30 days before departure: 5% of total tour fee.
30 to 15 days before departure: 10% of total tour fee.
14 to 7 days before departure: 15% of total tour fee.
6 to 0 days before departure: 20% of total tour fee.
Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Alteration of Itinerary

Before your booking is confirmed, alterations to your itinerary are happily processed free of charge, because providing the best tour possible for you is our goal. However, alterations after you have received your booking confirmation letter will incur a fee of $25.00 per request, and changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Chinavtour  reserves the right to modify the itinerary of your tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/ refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes to your tour, then you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.

Travel Document

A valid passport and necessary visas or permits are required for you traveling on our programs. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of yours, though your travel consultant may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon your request. ChinaVtour accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for your failure to obtain appropriate documentation.

Luggage Allowance

According to the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg (44pounds) for the economy class, 30kg (66pounds) for the business class, and 40kg (88pounds) for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.

Medical Issues

You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair. Certain features, and certain trips, are not wheelchair-accessible. We cannot guarantee any wheelchair assistance or accessibility in international destinations. ChinaVtour reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.
We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.
You should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize yourselves with health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries you are going to visit or transit.
Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal in case that the very high altitude have the possible effect on certain people.

Insurance

Chinavtour  tour packages include Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance covers only accidents occurring during the activities arranged by a travel agency, so it is recommended that you purchase personal insurance in your home Country before departure. We recommend that all visitors to China purchase travel insurance sufficient to cover medical needs and trip curtailment beyond the coverage of the Agency policy.

Responsibility

The responsibility of Chinavtour  and its affiliated companies is strictly limited. ChinaVtour shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by Chinavtour By utilizing the travel services of the Suppliers, you agree that you will look to such Suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither Chinavtour  nor any representative of Chinavtour Tours shall be liable.
Without limitation, Chinavtour is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from--but not limited to--acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes of other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Chinavtour. Nor is Chinavtour responsible for the stolen and lost of your valuable items due to your own negligence.
ChinaVtour  is not responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations.
Chinavtour reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If Chinavtour has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, Chinavtour is liable for a full refund of the money received by ChinaVtour,If you purchase an airline ticket separately, ensure that your agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is issued as Chinavtour is not responsible for such airline ticket cancellation fees.

Chinavtour reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges.
Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. Chinavtour  reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
Many of ChinaVtour tour packages include activities that require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Chinavtour, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.

Complaints and Claims

Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service Chinavtour has provided, please inform your local tour guide or your travel consultant immediately to avoid similar problems happening again either before or during your trip.
If you want to complain or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days upon your finish of your tour. Please attach relevant receipts and substantiating evidence to the letter of claim. Chinavtour will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after you finish your tour.
