Pick you up by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from your accommodation place around 8:30 am and 9:00 am. Take a one day tour to visit Xianyang Museum (also called Xianyang Terracotta Museum) focuses its exhibition on the historical relics of the Qin and the Han dynasties. Xianyang City is 28 kilometers away from Xi'an. It was the capital of the famous Qin Dynasty in Chinese history. Then we will visit Maoling Mausoleum - the tomb of Emperor Wudi in the Western Han Dynasty. It is the biggest mausoleum of the Western Han Dynasty (206BC-8AD). Then we will visit Qianling Mausoleum -the joint tomb of Emperor Tang Gaozong and Empress Wu Zetian, the only Empress in Chinese history.
Qianling the tomb of the third Tang emperor, Li Zhi, and Empress Wu Zetian, is located on Liangshan Mountain, 6 kilometers north of Qianxian County seat and 80 kilometers from Xi'an. Qianling is the most typical and best preserved of all the eighteen Tang mausoleums. |

Move on to visit Famen Temple /Monastery and Famen Museum. First built in East Han Dynasty (25 - 220), Famen Temple was the famous temple as dagoba for the bones of Sakyamuni.
Situated some 118 kilometers (73 miles) west of Xian, the Famen Temple gained the name Famen (which means the initial approach to become a Buddhist believer) in the Tang dynasty when a wooden four-storey structure was built replacing the original Ashoka Stupa built in the Eastern Han dynasty. The temple boasts that it is the largest of this kind ever discovered with the remains of the finger bones of Sakyamuni.
